Airport Gurus provided Master Systems Integration (MSI) services for the new terminal development at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima.
概述
Airport Gurus provided Master Systems Integration (MSI) services for the new terminal development at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima. The engagement focused on defining, coordinating, and validating the interfaces between multiple airport systems operating within a new terminal environment.
The assignment addressed both digital data exchanges and discrete signal interactions, ensuring consistent system behavior across vendors. In parallel, Airport Gurus supervised integration activities and testing processes to support a controlled transition from technical validation through commissioning and operational readiness.
Project Details
The development of the new terminal at Jorge Chávez International Airport involved the implementation of numerous airport systems delivered by multiple vendors, each with distinct technical architectures and operational responsibilities. To ensure reliable airport operations, these systems required structured integration across both software based data exchanges and physical signal interfaces supporting operational workflows.
Airport Gurus supported the program by acting as Master Systems Integrator, defining and coordinating all system interfaces required for the new terminal operating environment. This included identification and formalization of interface boundaries, data exchange requirements, and discrete signal interactions between systems. Interface responsibilities and validation criteria were consolidated into Interface Control Documents, providing a traceable and consistent framework for integration management.
The ICDs defined applicable testing stages for each interface, including Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, Integrated Testing, and commissioning activities. Airport Gurus supervised integration efforts by reviewing technical documentation, validating test procedures, and overseeing execution of interface testing to confirm compliance with defined requirements.
In addition to interface coordination, Airport Gurus supported alignment between system integration activities, the Technical Employer’s Requirements, and the operational objectives of the new terminal. Integration activities were coordinated with ORAT milestones to support a structured transition from system testing to operational readiness.
Through this approach, Airport Gurus helped reduce integration and commissioning risk, establish a controlled validation framework, and ensure system interoperability prior to go‑live in a complex, multi‑vendor terminal environment.
