Changi BEST (BHS Expert Simulation Tool) is an advanced 3D simulation model designed for baggage system planning and evaluation at Changi Airport. It currently models the baggage handling systems in all four Terminals T1, T2, T3, and T4, with plans to incorporate T5’s baggage system design once finalized. The name “Changi BEST” reflects Changi’s commitment and proactive approach to providing a high-caliber baggage system and passenger service performance.
Operational Capabilities
The tool supports operational optimization by analyzing changes such as schedule adjustments, passenger arrival processes, and operational policies, including airline terminal and check-in counter assignments. Launched in 2017, Changi BEST reflects Changi Airport’s commitment to high-performance baggage systems and passenger service excellence.
